INGREDIENTS
500 grams Cottage Cheese (Paneer), cut into 1-inch triangles,
3 tbsp Oil,
2 Bay leaves,
2 Cloves,
2 One-inch sticks Cinnamon,
2 dried Red Chillies, broken in half,
2 tbsp Coriander seeds, (Crushed)
1 medium Onion, sliced
2 tbsp Ginger paste,
2 tbsp Garlic paste,
1 tbsp Coriander powder,
1tbsp Red Chilli powder,
5-6 medium Tomatoes, chopped,
Salt to taste.
METHOD:
1 Heat the Oil in a kadai, add Bay leaves, Cloves, Cinnamon, Red Chillies and half and crushed Coriander seeds, saute for half a minute.
2 Add Onion and saute for a while, add Ginger and Garlic paste and saute for a while longer.
3 Add Coriander powder , Red Chilli powder and Tomatoes. Cook over high heat till the Oil Separates.
4 Add Paneer, Salt and half cup of Water. Cook covered over low heat for five minutes.
5 Serve hot, garnished with the remaining crushed Coriander seeds.
